Billy Ruben...Go Away!

Also, known as our first trip to the hospital!

Hi Everyone!

I have been having a great new experience with Mommy and Daddy the last few days.

It is really exciting and a bit confusing. I mean, one minute I am on an emotional roller-coaster at home, the next minute I am rushed to a hospital.

They said I am jaundiced too much and dehydrated, admitted me into the NICU, stuck an IV in my arm, threw me under some bright lights, Velcro-ed on some shades and now I am set.

Billy Ruben…he is the whole problem. See, my name is Zion Baumgarten and Billy Ruben is in my body and the Doctors want Billy gone.

While we are here, mommy and I are learning to breast-feed the right way and I know we are going to get it right. Neither of us had to do this before and I am very frustrated at the whole confusing thing.

The other thing I see is how my parents are so great with each other. My being here could have caused them a problem but they just get closer and more loving each time I throw something at them.

Hummm....what shall I do next?
